Thrill again to the exquisite sounds of Cantiamo! at this year's
"Concert For A Winter's Eve." This season Cantiamo! is
celebrating Conductor Cheryl Anderson's 20th year with the group
and as Director of Choral Activities at Cabrillo College. The
concert's theme: "Earth, Rain, Wind, and Fire," inspired the
choices of powerful and compellingly beautiful literature. Some
of our favorite composers: Schoenberg, Eric Whitacre, Raminsh,
Britten, and Morten Lauridsen are on our bill this season.
Inspired by the elements, these works are infused with passion,
tenderness, and spirit. Don't miss this premiere vocal ensemble
in concert: Friday, December 16, 2011, 8:00 pm at Holy Cross
Church in Santa Cruz, and Saturday, December 17, 2011, 8:00 pm
at Carmel Mission Basilica. Tickets are $20 General Admission
